I know that all the postings have recently been very serious, and maybe this might be a nice break. We're big National Public Radio fans around here (sorry CBC... okay, but Lawrence Wall always has a place in our collective 91.5 FM - Ottawa hearts), and I've been loading up my iPod with podcasts from NPR (Speaking of Faith, Fresh Air, 'Wait, Wait, Don't tell Me!' and of course - for all you Garrison Keilor fans out there, 'The News from Lake Wobegon.") and recently, I've been listening to Ira Glass's "This American Life." Navigate to the link below(you can get it straight from The Chicago Public Radio webpage or subscribe through iTunes) and when you've got about 27 minutes, listen to "ACT 3: Santa Fight Club." Trust me. It's so worth it. While listening to it, I had to get off the elliptical machine I was on at the gym this morning because I was laughing to hard. I don't know how the reporter managed to be so completely level-toned throughout the whole thing. Genius!
