This past weekend we took advantage of "Homeschool Days" at the Mall of America amusement park. 3-hour long unlimited-rides wristbands were cheap ($12) for homeschooling families and so we jumped at the chance!
The kids have never had carte-blanche to go on as many rides as they wanted so this was a serious thrill. Of course we didn't last 3 hours... but we managed to fill almost 2 hours with lots of fun and thrills. Turns out that we officially have an adrenaline junkie among us... AND IT'S NOT WHO YOU THINK.
Yes, it's MAYMUNA (a.k.a. The Lamb) who is crazy about rollercoasters and wanting to go up high and upside down, faster, faster, faster! My 6 year old has now been on more rollercoasters than ME. Including the SPLAT-O-SPHERE...
Where you go up, up, up...
And then you are plummeted down, down, DOWN!
I would have hated every minute of it, but look how happy this child is:
Hafsa actually opted for the safer, quieter rides...
But I think she still had an excellent time!
