Last weekend was the one year anniversary of the Istanbul Center opening! We gathered together with friends and tireless supporters of this program to celebrate at Tapasuma, Mark and Nedret Butler's restaurant on the Asian side. It was a delightful evening, and we are all so very happy that this dream has come true for the Butlers and all the other great people who worked so hard to see this happen, including our very own Ozayr Saloojee. It was a lovely celebration of this accomplishment. We even had a cake! Guess who blew out the candles? ;-)
