Lale

Forgive me for saying so, but we spotted the first tulips of the season the other day near the Blue Mosque. Just a peak from a couple of brave blooms:

I wrote a post last year about tulips in Turkey, you can read it here. In Turkish, tulip is "lale" pronounced "lah-lay." Sending strong sunshine wishes for everyone back home. Just think, your tulips are under there, starting to make plans for blooming soon!
